xWhat are each of the blades and discs used for?
Chopping Blade: The Chopping Blade is great for finely chopping ingredients for salsas, sauces, dips, soup bases, stir-fries, and purées. It works best with hard ingredients like onions, garlic, carrots, and celery for pan-frying; leafy ingredients like basil or cilantro for pesto or chimichurri; or soft ingredients like cooked beans, squash, and cauliflower for dips and soups.
Reversible Thick Slice/Shred Disc: One side slices, one side shreds. Use the Slice side for prepping potatoes, carrots, beets, and other root vegetables for roasting or casseroles; for slicing onions for onion rings; for slicing fruit for pies, cobblers, and crisps; for slicing hard, cured sausage like pepperoni and salami; and more. Use the Shred side for grating cabbage and carrots for coleslaw and other chopped salads; grating potatoes for hash browns or latkes; grating cheeses like cheddar, swiss, or mozzarella; and more.
Dough Blade: This blade works to mix and fold dough for pie crust, pizza dough, small batch biscuits, and shortbread cookies.
What are the speeds and programs?
All three attachments can be operated manually with the HIGH, MEDIUM, LOW, and PULSE settings. Each attachment also features its own pre-set programs.
For the blending pitcher:
Purée: Delivers a perfectly smooth texture — ideal for soups, sauces, and spreads.
Frozen Drinks: Perfect for large-batch ice-blended mocktails or cocktails and frappe style drinks.

What are each of the attachments made from?
The single-serve cups and blending pitcher are made from Tritan BPA-free plastic.
The food processor bowl is made from BPA-free SAN plastic.
The metal blades made are made from stainless steel. The dough blade is made from
BPA-free EPS plastic.
I’m having trouble attaching/detaching the food processor attachment to the motor base. How do the food processor bowl/lid attach/detach to/from the base?
The food processor work bowl and lid must be attached and detached in a specific order to operate. First, secure your blade of choice inside the work bowl. Next, lock the work bowl onto the motor base by twisting clockwise. It will click into place when secured. Next, twist the work bowl lid clockwise so the arrows are aligned and it locks into place. Insert the Food Pusher into
the Lid’s Feed Chute. Finally, plug in the motor base. The unit should be disassembled in the opposite order it was assembled: unplug the unit, unlock the lid, then unlock the work bowl from the power base.
Which pieces of the Triple Prep System are dishwasher-safe?
a. All attachments and accessories aside from the tamper and the single-serve blending blade are dishwasher-safe. The tamper and single-serve blending blade should be washed by hand with soap and water. The Power Base is not water-proof and should never be placed in the dishwasher, or submerged in any water. To clean the power base, simply wipe down with a damp cloth.
How do I know that Triple Prep System is properly assembled? (Food processor FAQ reference)
If the Triple Prep System is working, then it is properly assembled. The unit will not operate unless all attachments are properly assembled and locked into place.
Will the Full-Sized blender work without a lid?
Yes, it will, so it is VERY IMPORTANT to remember to attach the lid to the blending
pitcher before beginning your blending program. There is no system in place that can detect whether or not the blending pitcher lid is attached. It is the user’s responsibility to secure the lid to prevent contents from spraying out of the top of the pitcher.
Can I pause or end a program before it’s completed?
Yes, you can. To pause blending, press the icon of the same program that’s currently running. To resume blending, press the same program icon again. To end blending, press the power icon once. All settings will return to the main control panel.
